Harmony Lodge #8
is the second oldest Masonic Lodge in New Jersey, and was founded on June 24th 1788; five years after the close of the Revolutionary War, one month prior to the ratification of the Constitution, and ten months before the Inauguration of this country’s most famous Mason, George Washington, as the first President of the United States.
A fraternity is defined as “The quality or condition of being brothers; brotherliness”. It also refers to like minded brothers. Harmony Lodge is very much an example of this. We are a diverse group of individuals who historically have ranged from kings to tradesmen; and who share a common goal and set of values. This is what makes us what we are. Our differences make us individuals and help to complement each other. Whether you are a visiting brother or someone seeking admission we trust you will find us the embodiment of true fraternity.

Food, Fraternity and Meetings !
Fellowship is one of the most important ingredients in the enjoyment of our Masonic activities. Going forward, during the course of this year, we will be serving dinner before each degree meeting and a selection of fine sandwiches prior to our business meetings.
Meetings start at 7:30pm – dinner or sandwiches will be served 6:30pm onwards.
